When it comes to chemical exfoliation, I like to be gentle with it. So I wanted to try out an exfoliating cleanser like this Vaunt Complete Cleanse Body Wash.

While it says body wash, it can be used on the face as well and that is exactly how I used up this exfoliating body wash. So keep reading to find out how well it performs as a cleanser and exfoliant.

About the Product:

The body wash comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a foam dispenser. It has a thin consistency but is dispensed in form of foam.

Ingredients:

Aqua, Coco Glucoside, Sodium Lauroamphoacetate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Mandelic Acid, Cetyl Betaine, Glycerine, Maltooligosyl Glucoside, Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate, Niacinamide, Salicylic Acid, Water, Tartaric Acid, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Sulfite, Sodium Metabisulfite, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Saxifraga Sarmentosa Extract, Carica Papaya Fruit Extract, Psidium Guajava Fruit Extract,  Saccharide Isomerate, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Betaine, Sodium Gluconate.

Directions to Use:

Use it at night. Take 1-2 pumps and leave it on for 30-45 seconds before rinsing with water. times at night.

My Experience Using Vaunt Complete Cleanse Body Wash:

From the very first wash, I liked this product. Despite being a wash-off exfoliant it isn’t mild. So I find it to be the perfect exfoliating cleanser to remove dead skin and even surface-level blackheads gently yet effectively.

It also softens my skin after every use and leaves it brighter and fresher. I am able to use it on alternate days without irritation since I have been using chemical exfoliates for a while now.

I use 1-2 pumps at night and leave it on for 45-50 seconds before rinsing with water. But if you are new to chemical exfoliation or if you have sensitive skin, you should rinse it off after 30 seconds and use it only 1-2 times a week initially. 

I that the Vaunt Complete Cleanse Body wash has both AHA(mandelic acid) and BHA(salicylic acid). So it will work for all skin types. Salicylic acid helps with unclogging pores while mandelic acid help smoothens and brighten the skin.

I have oily skin and found it helps in decongesting my facial skin without drying it out.  The only issue I found with this is that it doesn’t work well as a body wash. I had to use several pumps to cover my entire body. So the 100 ml bottle will be used up quickly. 

This makes it a slightly expensive body wash option for regular use. But if you are only interested in using this to exfoliate your face or certain areas of the body(such as underarms), this is quite affordable and will last several months.

I haven’t used any other exfoliating facewashes but I am quite pleased with this Complete Cleanse Body Wash from Vaunt Skincare. You can use it to keep blackheads in check and even pair it with Vitamin C or niacinamide serum to fade hyperpigmentation caused by acne or sun tan.

Final Thoughts on Vaunt Complete Cleanse Body Wash :

This is a great exfoliating cleanser that softens, brightens, and decongests skin without drying it out or causing irritation. It is easy to use and can be used all over the body to get rid of dead skin buildup.
