Vaunt Vitamin C Water Review
Last Updated on April 2, 2024
From brightening your skin to boosting collagen levels, Vitamin C is the one ingredient that can do it all. I have been longing to add it to my routine and finally picked up the Vaunt Vitamin C Water this year.
I have been trying to fade my acne scars for a while now and felt it is time to speed up the process with a Vitamin C Serum. After all, Vitamin C doesn’t just help fade scars but also acts as an anti-inflammatory ingredient to soothe acne-prone skin.
And let’s not forget its role in protecting your skin from sun damage and delaying signs of fine lines and wrinkles.
So after deliberating over various options, I finally bought the Vaunt Vitamin C Water since it is pocket-friendly and formulated by a genuine brand that focuses on simple skincare solutions.
Product Claims:
This light vitamin water is part of our targeted solution to effectively boosts your skin’s natural collagen production helping it stay supple, youthful and wrinkle-free.
With brightening and anti-oxidizing agents naturally present in Vitamin C, it diminishes dark spots, lightens scars, reverses sun-damage, and retains moisture, giving you that dewy, luminous glow.
3-4 drops of this miracle vitamin water before bed, helps boost your skin’s natural collagen supply, adding a nourishing glow to keep you looking radiant the next day.
Price: Rs 745 for 30ml
Shelf life: 18 months
About the Product:
The Vaunt Vitamin C water has a pale yellow colour and is stored in an amber-coloured frosted glass bottle with dropper. The consistency is watery and similar to a facial toner.
Ingredients:
Water, Geranium Water, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Phyllanthus Emblica Extract (Amla), Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root Extract (Licorice), Xylitylglucoside, Anhydroxylitoland, Xylitol, Citric Acid, Caprylhydroxamic Acid (and) Caprylyl Glycol (and) Glycerine, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Gluconate, Hyaluronic Acid.
Directions to Use:
Gently dab 1-2 drops onto freshly cleansed skin every night before your moisturizing routine for dewy, supple, glowing skin.
My Experience Using Vaunt Vitamin C Water:
When I ordered this from Vaunt, I was hoping to use it a serum, but it actually turned out to be more like a toner. The consistency is really light and runny, just like water.
I applied it to my skin straight after cleansing during both my morning and evening skincare routines. I tried squeezing out 4-5 drops on my fingers and applying it to my face. But that just leads to product waste as the water just runs down the fingers
So I went ahead and placed the dropper straight over my cheeks, forehead and chin to apply it directly to the skin. Not the best way to apply a product, but it was the only way that worked.
I wish the bottle had a spray cap instead of a dropper. As that would make the application really convenient. Just spritz it all over the face and gently pat it in.
Anyway, despite this hurdle, the product works quite well. (More than well I must say.) Just 4-5 drops all over the face help hydrate my skin and make it supple to touch. I also didn’t experience any tingling sensation or breakouts/purging while using it.

Does It Fade Acne Scars?
Coming down to the main purpose of using the Vaunt Vitamin C Water- fading acne scars. I started using this in the first week of January and have used it daily for 3 months. And I am thrilled to see my scars actually getting lighter every week.
The results were visible after 5-6 weeks of continuous use and they are at least 30-40% lighter. Despite having a lower concentration of Vitamin C, my face looks more even-toned after 3 months.
Most vitamin C serums in the market have 10% or higher concentration of Vitamin C. But the Vaunt Vitamin C Water has 5% Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (a stable form of Vitamin C) making it a wonderful choice for beginners. This also makes it suitable to be used both in morning and evening as a skin brightening Vitamin C toner.
People with dehydrated or uneven skin will love this one. Due to its light consistency, it can be easily layered in between your usual toner and moisturizer without feeling heavy.
I have already emptied my first bottle after using it twice daily for 3 months and can’t wait to order it again once this lockdown is over.

Does it work in Brightening the skin?
Rutu
Definitely! It takes 3-4 weeks of regular use to see the effect but that’s normal with all vitamin C serums.

By acne scars do you mean the pitted scars or just marks?
Rutu
Hi, I am referring to the marks here. Also known as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

I have also used this for almost 3 months but didn’t see any considerable change neither in acne scars nor in skin. Quite disappointed with this product. Though it won’t cause any sensation but of the product is not worth according to what they claim.

Sad, to read about your experience Khushboo. Try using a serum with higher concentration of Vitamin C and see if that works.
