Vaunt Calm Cream Review
Last Updated on April 2, 2024
A good lightweight moisturizer should be in everyone’s vanity. But does the Vaunt Calm Cream fit the bill?
Vaunt is slowly becoming one of my favourite clean beauty brands with its gentle yet effective product range that protects our skin from damaged barrier. This particular moisturizer is also aimed to soothe your skin to minimize the side effects of strong actives.
I had the moisturizer with me for quite some time and finished up almost ¾ of that bottle. So here’s my detailed review on how it fares as a moisturizer for oily skin.
Product Claims of Vaunt Calm Cream:
Whether you’re looking for a soothing moisturiser to finish your acid and actives-packed routine or need a no-frills finisher to keep your skincare simple, the Calm Cream is here for you. This is our all-purpose moisturiser suitable for daily use, especially for those who need something to seal in the goodness of strong actives like retinol, Vitamin C, acids and the likes.
Price: 745 for 45 ml

The product comes in a sturdy glass bottle with a protective plastic cap and has all details printed on the outer carton. The moisturiser is white with no fragrance and the consistency is similar to a lotion.

My Experience Using Vaunt Calm Cream:
I first started using this during winter when my usually oily skin turns dry. It has a runny consistency and is easy to spread. It takes a mere 10 seconds for the moisturizer to sink into my skin.
The finish is neither matte nor dewy but the skin feels smooth and moisturized on touch. There is no visible shine which is great if you have oily skin like me.
Only two pumps of the Vaunt calm cream are enough to cover my entire face. I usually apply this on damp skin, a trick I highly recommend if you have dehydrated or dry skin as it locks in the moisture.
Coming down to the performance, this is truly one of the best moisturizers I have tried on my oily skin despite it being a lotion and not a gel. Just like its name, the skin feels very calm on application and looks healthy.
It has never broken me out or felt heavy even during the hotter days when I was sweating. So this will suit well for almost all skin types.
People with combination skin, in general, will love this since it moisturizes the dry patches on the skin without making the T-zone greasy.
Given the ingredients list which boasts of some soothing and skin-loving ingredients, this moisturizer can be used after using any actives like retinol or AHAs to minimize irritation.
It is one of the moisturizers that I can use around the year to keep my skin hydrated and soft. The price too is affordable considering how long the bottle lasted so I will consider purchasing it.
Overall, I am pretty happy with this Vaunt Calm Cream and would consider repurchasing it.
