Earth Rhythm Charcoal Cleansing Balm Review
Last Updated on April 2, 2024
Double cleansing is a big skincare fad these days. While I don’t do it every day, it is a must for me while wearing makeup. So when I needed a new makeup cleanser, I decided to get the Earth Rhythm Deep Pore Charcoal Cleansing Balm.
I loved the Earth Rhythm Shampoo Bar and Solid Conditioner and even tried the Matcha Cleansing Balm once at my cousin’s place and liked it. So I decided to try the charcoal variant this time.

Cleanses, Removes Excess Oil & Dirt and Detoxifies

Directions to Use:
Warm a pea-sized amount of cleansing balm between dry palms and massage over dry skin. Wet your hands with a little water and massage the face to emulsify the oil. Wash off with plain water and pat dry.
My Experience With Earth Rhythm Charcoal Cleansing Balm:
I have used it on and off for the past few months. And I must say, this 100 gram jar is going to last super long since I need just a little amount even while wearing makeup.
As instructed, I scoop out a small quantity with a spoon and rub it in between my fingers for 5 seconds. Our body heat melts the cleansing balm and helps it spread more easily over the skin.
I massage the balm all over my dry face for about 20 seconds before adding a little water to emulsify. Then I massage it for another 15-20 seconds before rinsing it off with water.
The balm cleanses well and removes all makeup including waterproof lipsticks and mascara. But unlike the matcha variant, this charcoal variant doesn’t wash away completely.
After rinsing, sometimes I can see feel some residue being left behind. So I recommend using a foaming cleanser after using the Earth Rhythm Charcoal Cleansing Balm to be on the safe side.
But apart from this, this cleansing balm works really well and makes makeup removal an easy process. If you have a wedding coming up, this is a great buy since it removes heavy makeup without being harsh on the skin. it hasn’t broken me out yet so I think it will suit everyone.

Final Thoughts on Earth Rhythm Charcoal Cleansing Balm:
