Raw Beauty Wellness Neemoi Daily Powder Cleanser Review
Last Updated on April 2, 2024
Raw Beauty Wellness is one of the best indie beauty finds in the sustainable skincare segment in India. After reading so many good reviews on their products, I decided to purchase the Raw Beauty Neemoi Daily Face Wash Powder along with their Lip Lock Lip Balm (reviewed here).
Raw beauty has 3 different variants of powder cleansers and Neemoi is suitable for oily skin. Hence I decided to go with it.
I chose the refill pack since I already have several empty containers that I could reuse to store the powder. After using it for over 2 months now, here is my detailed review to help you decide whether to buy it or not.
Product claims:
A gentle cleanser that exfoliates, removes dead skin, white and blackheads, heals acne and reduces its occurrence. Also, it improves skin tone and texture, brightens dull skin and reverses environmental damage
Price: Rs 500 for 75 grams
Shelf life: 6 months
About the Raw Beauty Wellness Neemoi Cleanser:
It is a green coloured powdered cleanser. The consistency is not too grainy and forms a smooth paste.
The product is sold in either a glass jar with a tin lid or in a refill pack made with paper and oxo-biodegradable plastic lining.
Ingredients:
Organic Oats, Neem, Tulsi, Moringa. (New formulation now includes wild white turmeric too)
Directions to use:
Use directly on wet face or make a paste with water or curd or aloe vera gel or honey. Apply on damp face, let it sit on your face for a minute. Gently scrub with wet fingers in a circular motion and rinse. It can be used as a pack too.

My Experience Using Raw Beauty Neemoi Cleanser:
This powder cleanser is made with some simple yet beautiful ingredients like neem, tulsi and moringa. All of these are extremely beneficial for oily and acne-prone skin due to their anti-bacterial and healing properties.
The consistency is surprisingly smooth too. Of all the powder cleansers I have used, this one has the best consistency so far.
It turns into a smooth paste when mixed with water and can be used as a daily face mask. There is barely any fallout and hence, no product gets wasted when you massage it on the skin.
I mix 1/2tsp of Raw Beauty Neemoi Cleanser with water and it turns into a dark green paste. I leave it on the skin for 2-3 minutes and let it dry up a bit.
This makes it more effective as a gentle scrub since the powder turns a bit gritty in texture. But if you want to use it just as a cleanser, simply massage the paste on face and rinse it off.
After rinsing, my skin looks brighter and supple to touch. Just a pea-sized moisturizer and I am done. Sometimes, I even add some Multani mitti and orange peel powder to Neemoi and use it as a 3-in-1 face mask, scrub and cleanser.
It removes dirt and excess oils well and even gently exfoliates the skin in the process. I haven’t seen any major improvements in terms of acne(caused due to hormonal imbalances), but it does manage to keep tiny whiteheads away.
Overall, it is a wonderful powder cleanser for people with oily and acne-prone skin.

The Raw Beauty Neemoi Cleanser has become another one of my favourite cleansers. It cleanses well and is super easy to use.

Any other product that worked for acne due to harmonal imbalance?

Practicing a skincare routine consistently has reduced the occurrence but I still get 1-2 pimples before my periods. As long as the hormonal imbalance remains unsolved, acne won’t go away completely.
