Fiducia Botanicals Lip Balm Review
Last Updated on April 2, 2024
Lip balms are essential for all of us. Because dry, chapped lips are no fun. So I am always hunting for new natural lip balms and ended up buying 2 from Fiducia Botanicals, the Seabuckthorn Rosehip variant and their Cherry Plum Tinted Lip Balm.
The first one has been on the wishlist for a long time. So I was truly overjoyed when Fiducia Botanicals launched a tinted version of their natural lips balms as well in 5 shades.
I have been using these for over 5 months now and here is a review on both.

My Experience Using Fiducia Botanicals Lip Balm:
Seabuckthorn And Rosehip Lip Balm
This is a basic unflavoured lip balm that helps your lips stay soft and moisturised. It has bright yellow colour from rosehip and seabuckthorn oils which are both well known for their antioxidant and skin reparative properties.
The lip balm felt a little hard to rub in during winters. I have to swipe it 3-4 times for it to warm up and glide smoothly. But as the summers began, the butters in it have softened and it glides very smoothly now.
It does keep my lips moisturised all day but gets wiped off quickly. It is very lightweight so you could easily reapply it as needed(if you are in an air-conditioned room all day) and wear it under makeup as well.
My lips are naturally pigmented so these lips balms can’t lighten them. But I didn’t notice any brightening on my lips as Juicy Chemistry blood orange lip balm did( which targets hyperpigmentation too).
So if you are interested in buying this solely for depigmentation I would suggest you go with the Juicy chemistry one instead. But overall, this is a nice organic lip balm that has no flavour or fragrance and moisturises your lips well.

Cherry Plum Tinted Lip Balm
I have pigmented lips so I picked Cherry Plum out of the 5 tinted balm shades Fiducia Botanicals offers since it is supposed to be the darkest of all. It is a nice moisturizing lip balm that glides easily on the lips.
A single swipe is enough to mask my lip pigmentation and get an even tint across my lips. But you can swipe 2-3 times to get a deeper tint.
It is perfect for everyday use as leaves a uniform pinkish tint on my lips, much like gloss does. But without the tackiness and minimal shine. This one also lasts longer on the lips compared to the seabuckthorn one and has a mild vanilla aroma.
I have used several commercial lips from brands like Maybelline, Nivea, etc. and this one beats them all in terms of tint, moisturization and overall lasting power. It is quite nourishing and will suit people with chapped lips too.
Overall, both the Cherry Plum Tinted Lip Balm and the Sebuckthorn rosehip Lip Balm from Fiducia Botanicals are nourishing and will keep your lips soft and moisturized. I am happy with them both, but the tinted one is definitely going to be on my repurchase list.
