Earth Rhythm Solid Conditioner Bar Review?
Last Updated on April 2, 2024
The biggest plastic waste generated in our personal care routine is probably from our shower routine. Those empty shampoo and conditioner bottles can pile up faster than we can expect and are pretty hard to reuse too.
I have been trying to cut down on my plastic usage by reducing plastic waster from my daily bath routine. So I switched to shampoo bars, cold-processed soaps and even solid conditioner bars. And the launch of Soapwork India’s solid conditioner bar was perfectly timed as I ran out my Soultree Hibiscus Conditioner.
How Does A Solid Conditioner Bar Work?
Solid conditioner bars work great as a zero-waste alternative to condition your hair. Regular conditioners have water as the base ingredient and hence have to be packed in a bottle, jar or tube.
A solid conditioner doesn’t contain any water. So what remains is a concentrated block of hair conditioning and moisturising ingredients.
When used, the water from wet hair helps distribute these ingredients from the conditioner bar onto the hair.
But does Earth Rhythm Solid Conditioner Bar work as good as a conventional conditioner? Read my experience below to find out.
Price: Rs 549 for 80 grams
About the Product
Soapworks India Solid Conditioner bar if off-white in colour and has a mild floral fragrance. It was wrapped in a paper pouch with details printed on it.
Ingredients:
Behentrimonium chloride, Cetyl Alcohol, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Oil, Ricinus communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Milk Protein, Vitamin E, Natural Preservative Geogard
Directions to use:
Glide on your wet hair and you can use either your fingers or a wide-tooth comb to distribute.
My Experience Using Earth Rhythm Solid Conditioner Bar:
When I received the conditioner bar, I expected it to be hard like soap bars. But instead, it was quite soft and slippery too.
The soap glides easily on wet hair and emulsifies with water to distribute a thin layer of conditioner on the hair. I like to apply it through the lengths of my hair and leave it on for 5 minutes before rinsing off.

The Earth Rhythm solid conditioner bar works similar to normal liquid or cream conditioners. It conditioned my hair well and made detangling quite easy. The reason being the ingredients used in this soap bar are the same as the ones used in conventional conditioners sans the water.
The conditioner bar is nourishing and helps tame frizz too without weighing down the hair. Just 3-4 swipes over the hair does the job.
I have been using for over 2 months now and haven’t even used up even a quarter of it. The brand claims it can last up to 100 washes. So if you wash your hair twice a week, it could last you almost an entire year.
Pros:
- Conditions and detangles well
- Zero waste conditioner
- Will last quite long
- Economically priced
- Has clean ingredients
- Does not weigh down hair.
- Controls frizz
- Helps detangle hair
- Affordable price
Cons:
- None
Final Thoughts on Earth Rhythm Solid Conditioner:
Earth Rhythm has as given us a wonderful zero waste option for hair conditioner that performs just like a conventional alternative. The economical pricing is commendable too so buy it if you want a good zero waste conditioner.
