Love Organically Anti-Acne Organic Face Pack Review

My skincare routine is incomplete without a good clay-based face mask. So every once in a while I lookout for new options and this time my eyes landed on the Love Organically Anti-Acne Neem Face Pack.

What attracted me to this face mask was the inclusion of zinc oxide and calamine powder. Both are known to work well in controlling itchiness that comes along with acne. 

Hence, I decided to try it out and share my experience and review with your guys.

Product Claims:

A purifying and detoxifying pack, filled with the goodness of Neem leaves and Tea Tree oil that fights pimple-causing bacteria, and leaves the skin clear, refreshed and even toned. The anti-bacterial and antifungal properties in Neem leaves and Tea Tree oil that kill the acne and pimple causing bacteria leaving you with smooth clear skin.

 No redness, no swelling and no inflammation only clear supple and soft skin. When puberty hits, acne often does, too. But our anti-acne ingredients ensure clear skin by fighting acne.

About the Product:

The Love Organically Anti-Acne Organic Face Pack is packaged in a resealable plastic pouch. The face mask is a light green powder with a refreshing herbal scent from tea tree oil.

Ingredients:

Calamine, Zinc Oxide, Kaolin, Cellulose Gum, Acacia Senegal Gum, Melia Azadirachta(neem) leaf powder, Bentonite, Melaleuca Alternifolia(Tea-tree) Leaf Oil, Melia Azadirachta leaves

Directions to Use:

Mix the powder with the desired quantity of plain or rose water. Apply it on a clean face & neck using a brush or your fingertips. 

Massage your face gently after application, to improve blood circulation and clean your skin pores. Leave it on for 10 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water

My Experience with Love Organically Anti-Acne Face Pack:

The first time I used the face mask, it found it a bit drying. The winter season was still in its final stage which could be a possible reason for dryness in my skin.

But from March onwards, this seemed to work fine without any extra dryness. The Love Organically Anti-Acne Face Pack is a lovely green-coloured face mask which was easy to apply on the skin.

I took a spoonful of face pack and mixed it with rosewater to form a smooth paste. I left it on for 10 minutes before rinsing off with water. You can get 8-10 uses out of the quantity provided.

The ingredients list seemed promising to me due to the presence of neem, tea tree oil, zinc oxide, bentonite and calamine. The brand added some chopped up dry neem leaves in there, but they are too few to leave an impact.

The face mask does a good job at absorbing excess oil, softening my skin and brightens it a bit too. But I can get similar results from a simple Multani mitti + rose water face mask too.

The results do not stand out when compared to other clay masks I have tried so far. I have used clay masks which even manage to hydrate my skin. So this Love Organically Face Mask was a bit lacking in that department.

Its not a bad face mask. But it is not great either.

• Helps absorb excess oil from the skin
• Will suit oily/acne-prone skin well

Final Thoughts on Love Organically Anti-Acne Organic Face Pack:

I don’t see myself buying this again since I can get similar results with a DIY clay mask too.

But if you are looking for a cheap clay mask for oily or acne-prone skin, this could be a good option for you. But it is not a must-have face pack in my opinion.
