Rustic Art Papaya Lime Shampoo Bar Review
Last Updated on April 2, 2024
I have become a huge fan of shampoo bars and haven’t bought a liquid shampoo since 2019. While I was happy with using the Earth Rhythm shampoo bars, there are so many new options available these days. So I decided to try out Rustic Art Papaya Lime Shampoo Bar this time.
Product Claims:
A citrus cleaner, to mine out the impurities that none can reach! Rustic Art Papaya Lime hair cleansing bar is filled with citric cleansers and fragrances to give you a lime and lemony hair wash experience.
Papaya, lime, orange, and lemon create an acidic environment for deep cleansing of the hair and scalp. Together, they prevent dandruff and alleviate the oily scalp.
Cocoa Seed butter adds a silky texture to the hair while nourishing it and keeping it tangle-free. A mix of Vit E, Vit B5 & Annatto Extract help restore hair health & texture that would make you fall in love with your hair, all over again.

My Experience Using Rustic Art Papaya Lime Shampoo Bar:
This is the third shampoo bar I have tried I didn’t face any issues getting used to it. I lather up the shampoo in my palms and massage it onto my hair. Sometimes, I even rub the shampoo bar directly onto hair if I am feeling lazy.
I have been using the Rustic Art shampoo for over 2 months and still have about 25% left. And I have thick, waist-length hair so that is pretty decent.
While this shampoo bar cleanses hair well, it is definitely a gentle formula. So it struggles with cleaning oiled hair( I can feel slightly oiliness at the roots). I need either a 3rd wash or use an extra quantity during the first 2 washes to get rid of all oil from my scalp.
Yet, my hair never felt dry or rough. So it won’t strip away moisture from your scalp. You can easily use it 3-4 times a week too if you tend to work out (daily hair wash is never recommended).
The Rustic Art Papaya Lime shampoo bar performed best when I hadn’t oiled my hair. So if you are someone who doesn’t oil their regularly, this will suit your needs quite well.
It lathers decently and the fragrance is also not overpowering. The consistency of the shampoo bar is also hard so it won’t melt away easily. It also has a mild conditioning effect which helps make tangling easier. Pair it with a lightweight conditioner and you will be good to go.
Overall it’s a good shampoo bar that doesn’t dry out my hair. But I won’t be repurchasing it since I oil my hair frequently.
