Soultree Tulsi and Sandalwood Moisturizing Gel Review
Last Updated on April 2, 2024
I always want to keep trying new moisturizers for my oily skin. A few months ago, I did a small Soultree haul and picked up their Tulsi and Sandalwood Moisturizing gel.
The Aroma Magic Moisturizer I used earlier worked well for me but the incomplete ingredient list made me want to try something else. I have been using the Soultree moisturizer ever since and here is a detailed review on it.
Product Claims:
The Soultree Tulsi and sandalwood moisturizing gel
Aromatic Sandalwood and Aloe Vera calm the skin and reduce redness. Potent herbs like Lodhra, Tulsi and Neem control acne by purifying and tightening pores.
About the Product:
The moisturizer comes in an amber-coloured plastic bottle with pump packaging. There is a plastic cap to close the pump dispenser after use.
The moisturizer has a lightweight gel-like texture. It is dark yellow in colour with a herbal scent to it.

My Experience Soultree Tulsi and Sandalwood Moisturizing Gel:
This is a humectant-rich moisturizer. I love how it has glycerine and aloe vera juice among the top three ingredients since they help draw moisture to the skin.
I need about 2 pumps of moisturizer to cover my entire face. Although the 40 ml quantity sounds less, it will easily last 2-3 months when used once daily. The tulsi fragrance is a bit strong but fades away quickly.
The moisturizer has a light gel-like consistency which absorbs quickly into the skin. There is no shine or greasiness left behind.
It does a good job at hydrating my oily skin and keeping it supple. If you live in a hot and humid area like me, your skin will love this moisturizer.
You can also layer this under an oil or oil-based serums. I usually apply 2-3 drops of grapeseed oil on top of this when my skin feels dry.
I am super happy with the Soultree Tulsi and Sandalwood moisturizing gel and totally see myself buying this for the upcoming summers. Also, the small bottle makes it a great travel companion.
