Soultree Tulsi and Sandalwood Moisturising Gel Review

Soultree tulsi sandalwood moisturizer

I always want to keep trying new moisturizers for my oily skin. A few months ago, I did a small Soultree haul and picked up their Tulsi and Sandalwood Moisturizing gel.

The Aroma Magic Moisturizer I used earlier worked well for me but the incomplete ingredient list made me want to try something else.  I have been using the Soultree moisturizer ever since and here is a detailed review on it.

Product claims:

The Soultree Tulsi and sandalwood moisturizing gel is prepared using a traditional Ayurveda recipe that soothes and softens skin. Olive and Jojoba Oil are combined with organic Honey to form a light, non-oily, nourishing base.

Aromatic Sandalwood and Aloe Vera calm the skin and reduce redness. Potent herbs like Lodhra, Tulsi and Neem control acne by purifying and tightening pores.

Directions to use:

Apply daily to the face and neck after cleansing and toning.

My experience:

The Soultree Tulsi and Sandalwood moisturizing gel is a humectant-rich moisturizer. I love how its has glycerine and aloe vera juice among the top three ingredients since they help draw moisture to the skin.

I need about 2 pumps of the moisturizer to cover my entire face. Although the 40 ml quantity sounds less, it will easily last 2-3 months when used once daily. The tulsi grafrance is a bit strong but fades away quickly.

The moisturizer has a light gel-like consistency which absorbs quickly into the skin. There is no shine or greasiness left behind.

It does a good job at hydrating my oily skin and keeping it supple. If you live in a hot and humid area like me, your skin will love this moisturizer.

You can also layer this under an oil or oil-based serums. I usually apply 2-3 drops of grapeseed oil on top of this when my skin feels dry.

I am super happy with the Soultree Tulsi and Sandalwood moisturizeg gel and totally see myself buying this for the upcoming summers. Also, the small bottle makes it a great travel companion.
