Soultree Nutgrass Face Wash Review

Dunno why but I have this urge to test a new facewash every time I run out of previous one. And since I loved the Soultree Moisturising Gel for my oily skin, I decided to pick up their Nutgrass Face Wash this time. 

This face wash is made for combination to oily skin and has some good soothing ingredients like Lodhra, Glycerine, Neem, Nutgrass and Chamomile in its formulation. I bought it back in October and used it every day since to review it as thoroughly as possible.

Product Claims of Soultree Nutgrass Face Wash:

This gentle everyday soap-free face cleanser, prepared with organic Nutgrass, Neem and Chamomile, will help in deep cleansing of the skin. Ideal for people who may suffer from regular breakouts, this face cleanser will remove excess oils that result in blackheads, dullness and hyperpigmentation.

The Mandarin Oil and fair-trade Chamomile handpicked from the forests of Ranikhet in Uttarakhand will soothe and calm your skin while giving it a boost of radiance on a daily basis.

About the Product:

The product comes in a tinted plastic bottle with a pump-style cap. The face wash itself is yellow in colour and has a gel-like consistency. It has citrusy fragrance which isn’t overpowering.

Wet your face and neck. Take the desired amount on your palm and massage your face and neck in a circular motion. Rinse with water

My Experience Using Soultree Nutgrass Face Wash:

When looking for a good natural facewash for my oily/acne-prone skin, my top priority is that the facewash should cleanse well without drying out the skin.

The sole purpose of a facewash is to cleanse your skin. And everything else is just an added benefit.

And this is where the Soultree Nutgrass facewash excels. Being an effective cleanser, it removes all dirt, grime and even light makeup too.

And while doing this it doesn’t strip away any natural oils from the skin. I have been using this for over 3 months now and it has suited my oily-acne prone skin quite well.

Obviously, it doesn’t do much for acne-control. But then no other facewash has done it in the past.

I need 1-2 pumps only and my skin feels soft, clean yet not so dehydrated. Keep in mind my skin was slightly on the drier side during the winters.

The citrusy smell of the facewash is pleasant yet not too overpowering. Also, the facewash even foams decently for those who feel lather is a must.

In the upcoming summers, this will prove to be a wonderful budget natural face wash for oily and acne-prone skinned people. Not only did it remove excess oil but it also did it without irritating or breaking me out.

I would gladly buy this again since it is quite affordably priced yet works well for my oily skin.

Definitely, The Soultree Nutgrass Face Wash is an underrated facewash in the budget segment. Hence, I will recommend it to anyone looking for a good face wash that cleanses your skin well without drying it out.

Again, it won’t solve your acne on its own but will keep your skin clean and allow other products to work efficiently.
