Earth Rhythm Daily Defence Sun Fluid SPF 30 Review
Last Updated on April 2, 2024
Update: This Earth Rhythm Sun Fluids have been discontinued by the brand. I will post a review on their new mineral sunscreen soon. Please check out this post for other mineral sunscreen options available in India.
Ever Since I switched to clean beauty, I have been on lookout for non-greasy mineral sunscreen in India that does not leave a white cast. So I was ecstatic when Earth Rhythm launched not one but three Sun Fluid versions.
I picked up the Daily Defence SPF 30 version as it is an apt amount for my WFH lifestyle. I have been using it for more than a month now so here is my experience.
Product Claims:
Mineral Based UV Filters protect the skin from the harmful effects of the sun, help to treat sunburn and skin cell damage.

Shelf life: 12 months
About the Product:
The Earth Rhythm Sunfluid comes in an amber glass bottle with a plastic pump. The sunscreen is a white-colored lotion with no scent.

My Experience Using Earth Rhythm Sun Fluid SPF 30:
Since the product is called sun fluid, I was expecting this to have a runny consistency. But in reality, it is more like a creamy lotion.
The sunscreen spreads smoothly and evenly on the skin. I apply 2-3 pumps on my face and it gets absorbed within 30 seconds.
There is no stickiness nor does it makes my skin oily. But I can still feel the presence of the product on my skin. That’s probably because I have oily skin and I am used to water-based moisturizers that seem to disappear into my skin.
But if you have combination or dry skin, this will be a perfect fit and finish for your skin type.
This sun fluid leaves a dewy finish and does not feel heavy. And with the winter coming, this will be a perfect fit as my otherwise super-oily skin turns dry.
I can easily skip my moisturizer with this one since I have oily skin. But if you have dry or combination skin, you will definitely a separate moisturizer underneath this.
I would have preferred the consistency to be a bit lighter as at times it makes my upper lips sweaty. But since this is the only mineral screen in India so far which leaves zero white cast behind, I am ready to forgive this shortcoming.
But the brand definitely needs to work on its consistency as sometimes I can spot a couple of small lumps in the lotion.
Overall, the Earth Rhythm Daily Defence Sun Fluid is a wonderful, non-greasy and broad-spectrum sunscreen for all skin types.
