My Experience Using Soapworks India Coconut Shampoo Bar:
Since this is the first natural shampoo bar I have used, I wasn’t expecting it to lather much. But to my surprise, it lathers quite well, even better than some natural liquid shampoos.
The shampoo bar can be used either directly on the scalp or you can foam it in your hands and apply just the lather. I have used it both ways and found it to work well.
It cleanses all dirt and excess oil well without drying out my hair. In fact, it even has a mild conditioning effect that makes detangling easier.
I have used on oiled hair too plenty of times and it removes it all with 2 washes. After that, I usually don’t find the need to go with a conditioner, but sometimes I use their conditioner bar to avoid frizz if the weather is too dry or humid.
You will have to use the shampoo bar a couple of times to figure out the exact amount your hair needs to cleanse well. Ideally, you just a need a little as it is super-concentrated, unlike the liquid shampoos.
Overall, I am quite happy with the shampoo bar. It suits my sometimes dry, sometimes oily scalp well. So it’s safe to say, the Soapworks India Coconut shampoo Bar should suit all scalp types.
After using it for 3 months, I have used up 70% of it. So a single shampoo bar will last you easily around 4 months. Maybe even longer if you don’t oil your hair regularly.
