My Experience With Mamaearth Tea Tree Face Wash
This facewash has a fluid, gel-like consistency that flows easily from the tube and is transparent in colour. It has a refreshing scent which reminds me of Cinthol soap. But the fragrance is not overpowering and goes away in a few seconds.
I massage a small quantity in my damp hands to lather it up before applying it to my wet face. After 20 seconds, I rinse it off and pat the skin dry.
The Mamaearth Tea Tree facewash is a really efficient cleanser for oily skin. It removes all oil, dirt and even some light makeup within seconds and leaves the skin clean.

The facewash will best suit people with oily or acne-prone skin. Teenagers with super-oily skin will love this most as it leaves skin fresh and clean but without the tightness or stretchy feeling.
While the face wash does not dry out the skin, it doesn’t make my skin feel hydrated either. So I only use this in the evening routine and prefer a gentler cleanser for my morning routine.
Apart from being priced reasonably, the formula of this Mamaearth facewash is also concentrated. Only a small quantity is enough to clean your face and neck so the 100ml tube will easily last 3-4 months.
There are two size options to choose from- 100ml and 250ml. The bigger tube is priced more economically and will last you 6 months or more. The Mamaearth Tea Tree facewash is also formulated without sulphates, parabens, silicones, or mineral oil.
Pros:
- Cleanses dirt and light makeup well
- Sulfate and paraben-free
- Cruelty-free
- Affordable and easily available
- Suitable for oily, acne-prone skin
- Multiple size options are available
Cons:
- Does not hydrate the skin
