PAC Zero Pore Separation Cream-02 Review

Last Updated on January 16, 2020

I used to apply aloe vera gel as a makeup base and although it helped the foundation go on smoothly, it did not help the foundation to stay longer. So I decided to buy a makeup primer and purchased Pac Zero Pore Separation Cream in the shade 02.

A good base is essential for flawless foundation application -This is something I always knew yet never followed until 6 months ago. And Boy! I was impressed. Here is my detailed experience using the PAC Zero Pore Separation Cream-02

My Experience using PAC Zero Pore Separation Cream:

Now I have no idea why the brand claims that this product is silicone-free. Because this primer is like silicone in a jar. Almost every ingredient is some kind of silicone.

However, since I have large pores on my face I do not mind using a silicone-based primer. But if you are allergic to silicones or do not have large pores you may want to skip this one.

I use a pea-sized amount and smooth it over face concentrating on my cheeks and nose area since that’s where I have most large pores. It can be quite heavy so use a very little quantity. Apply it only where you sweat a lot or have large pores.

The primer easily fills in pores and fine lines and gives an amazing blurred effect. Due to the silicones present, the skin is super silky to touch and the foundation glides on easily too.

The tint does not show up at all and so you may even use the other transparent shade since the effect is the same. I used the Maybelline New York Fit Me Foundation along with this.

The Foundation stayed on for around 8 hours easily even with sweating and oiliness. Also, it did not move around like it usually does without the primer.

You can notice the fine lines on right are barely visible after using the primer

I wore this when I went clubbing and even after dancing for 2 hours the foundation stayed on when I blotted my face. You need to be careful to thoroughly clean your face after using this since the silicones may clog pores.

Apart from that, there are no major concerns as such. The primer will work for all skin types especially oily skin, however, if you have dry skin moisturize your face thoroughly before using this.
