Powder cleansers are my new favourite skincare products. I fell in love with Skincare Villa Oats Almond Cleanser within a couple uses.
They recently added two new variants to their range of powder cleansers- Lavender and Rice. And I will be reviewing the Skincare Villa Lavender Cleanser today which I was received from the owner Sonali.
Price: Rs. 200 for 50 grams
Shelf life: 6 months
Availability: On their Instagram page

About the product:
The product is stored in a transparent plastic jar with a tin lid. It has a touch of lavender fragrance to it. The cleanser is slightly grainy in texture which turns into a smooth paste when mixed with water.
Ingredients:
Rice Powder, Oats, Almond, Organic Lavender Flowers

Directions to use:
Take a small amount of cleanser and add water to make a smooth paste. Gradually massage your face in circular motions and wash off with cold water. Do not rub harshly. Can be used as a face pack with warm water.

My Experience Using Skincare Villa Lavender Cleanser:
I use the Skincare Villa Lavender Cleanser twice a day along with plain water. I leave it on for about a minute and rinse it off. Then I follow it up with my all time favourite toner and moisturizer (Currently using the SoulTree Moisturising Gel )
My first thoughts while using this was that is consistency is smoother compared to their Oats cleanser I used previously. There is almost no fallout during application.
However, the texture is grainier than the Oats cleanser which makes this a decent exfoliator too. The cleanser is grainy yet doesn’t feel scratchy on the skin.

It removes all excess oil, sweat and dirt decently. The skin feels soft an hydrated post drying. It would make this a good choice for those with combination to oily skin.
This powder cleanser definitely does not remove makeup and you will require a separate cleanser for that purpose. Other than that it works well a mild everyday cleanser.

Cons:
- None
Final Thoughts on Skincare Villa Lavender Cleanser :
The Skincare Villa Lavender Cleanser is a nice, affordable option to have for combination to oily skin. Include this in your routine as an alternative to foaming facewash.

I love anything with lavender in it. This sounds like a good gentle morning cleanser. Nicely reviewed…
