My Experience Using Raw Beauty Muddly in Love Face Mask:
The first couple of uses with this clarifying face mask didn’t do much for my skin. Besides some oil control, my skin felt the same.
Turns out the problem was with the consistency of the face mask I made. I made a smooth paste that is easy to spread on my face. But instead, I had to use less water and make a thicker, mud-like paste to get the best results.
This left my skin super smooth and bright as well. The acai fruit extract powder does leave a slight pinkish tint to the skin so it is best to use Muddly in love face mask at night or a few hours before stepping out.
The face mask does a good job of reducing oiliness without leaving yoru skin parched. Yet, I don’t recommend using this in winter. In summer or monsoon, this would make a great addition to your oily skincare routine.
And while the Raw Beauty Face Mask does brighten the skin. I did not notice any lightening effect on pigmentation though. So this is best suited for people with oily-acne-prone skin who need an oil-controlling clay mask that also helps brighten the skin.
Overall, I am quite happy with this purchase but think you could perhaps get better options in this price range. But if you are simply looking for a good oil-control clay mask, Muddly in Love is a great pick nonetheless.
