By now you may have already read about the benefits of using oils as moisturizers. Oils are gaining the momentum in skincare with cleansing oils, facial oil blends etc. At first, when I read such articles, I was like why should I add oil to my already oily face? Wouldn’t it just make it greasier? What if it leads more acne?
For the past week, the rains have created a havoc in Mumbai by pouring non-stop. Lucky me, I sat by my window and worked on my articles, with some green tea and my leftover birthday cake (yes, the cake cancels out the purpose of green tea, but who cares! birthdays don’t come often). But for those who have to make the daily commute to office or college in these rains, it can be quite a task.
Hey guys, Hope the rains are treating you well. Today’s review is another cleansing product. I am experimenting a lot with face cleansers for a while now to find out what works best for my skin. I recently tried my hand at a dry cleanser from Skincare Villa and loved it thoroughly. And hence decided to go for another natural option- liquid castile soaps to see how it works out.
If you have oily skin and live in a hot, humid place like Mumbai, you may feel like you have to wash your face every hour. We have always read about washing our face no more than twice a day or risk drying it out. But what if I told you that you can wash your face more than twice?
Disclaimer: I am not against using Korean brands or people who follow these trends. This is just my personal view and how I feel about it so feel free to disagree.
2017 was all about Korean beauty or ‘k-beauty’ for short. Markets all over the world were flooded with sheet masks, serums, oil cleansers, and cushion foundations from Korean brands. Everyone was experimenting with the 10-step Korean beauty routine and slathering different sheet masks every day. Just try searching ‘Korean skincare’ and you will see dozens of ‘I tried the 10-step Korean beauty routine’ articles popping up in the results. Yes, Korean women have really good skin and we all envy them. Everyone wants to know the secret of their ever so flawless looking young skin. But the k-beauty routine is simply not the answer as much we would love it to be as easy as slathering few products on our skin every day.
As I write this article, the gods have officially upon the floodgates of heaven and rains are descending all over India. The scorching summers are finally over and monsoon has taken over. But if you thought taking care of your skin in summers was difficult, and now since its raining, you can let go, think again!
Hey, beauties! Today’s review is an eyebrow product because don’t we all want fuller brows? An eyebrow pencil is a staple in my everyday makeup routine and I have been using the Maybelline Fashion Brow Duo Shaper in the shade Grey for the past year. Find out how it works in this detailed review below.
