Last month, I ran out of my favourite Maybelline Baby Lips Balm. So I picked up the lip balm from Naturma in the mixed fruit flavour.
Of all the lip balms I have tried in the past, it Maybelline the only one that worked on my chapped lips. So I was a bit sceptical of trying out something new.
But since it was mineral-oil based, I decided to let it go finally (read here why). Instead, I bought this organic lip balm that I spotted on Amazon from a brand called Naturma.
Does it work as good as Maybelline Baby Lips? Find out in this review.
Quench dry or sore lips with this luscious moisturizing lip balm with a tint of colour. Shea Butter and Cocoa Butter provide soft lubrication, while cruelty-free Bees Wax locks in moisture and protects from environmental elements. Add a touch of joy to your day with this delicious fruity delight on your lips.
Price: Rs. 285 for 8gms. I got it for Rs. 225 here
Shelf life: 18 months
About the Product:
The lip balm comes in a small transparent plastic jar with a black screw-on lid. The lip balm has a buttery consistency and has a yellowish colour to it.
Organic Shea Butter, Organic Cocoa Butter, Organic Aloe Vera Gel, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Sweet Almond Oil, Certified Cruelty Free Bees Wax, Essential Oil of Organic Vanilla, Organic Lemon Extract, Blended with Essential Oil of Grape, Mint, Orange, Green Apple, Strawberry, & Natural Preservative Salinatural
My Experience Using Naturma Lip Balm:
The Naturma lip balm comes in a sturdy plastic jar and has 8 gms of product which is quite affordable for the price (Maybelline Baby Lips retails at Rs. 180 for 4gms).
It is a non-tinted lip balm with a fruity fragrance to it. The lip balm glides on smoothly on lips and does not feel heavy at all.
It stays on for 4-5 hours easily without meals. Post meals, you may have to reapply it but it’s not necessary.
The Naturma lip balm moisturizes very well and keeps the lips soft for the entire day even after it wears off. I have chapped lips throughout the year, and hence cannot skip lip balm for even a day, and have to reapply them throughout the day.
Maybelline Baby Lips is the only lip balm that keeps my lips moisturized for the entire day. And I am happy to see the Naturma Lip Balm perform equally well.
You can also wear this easily under matte lipsticks to prevent dry lips. It’s not too glossy and perfect to wear under lipsticks.
The only downside for me is the jar packaging since I prefer lip balm in stick form. Stick lip balms are most convenient and less messy, hence I favour them over jar-style packaging.
- Handmade and organic

- Keeps lips moisturized all day
- Does not feel heavy on lips
- Heals chapped lips

- Value for money

Final Thoughts On Naturma Lip Balm
Naturma lip balm is a great option to heal and soothe your lips at bedtime. If they add some sunscreen, it would be the perfect value for money lip balm.
I won’t repurchase this solely because I don’t like sticking my finger in the tub every time to apply it. But if you are okay with it, buy it and it won’t disappoint you.
