I am not really an eye cream person. I usually end up using my face oils to keep my under eye area hydrated. But I have been really intrigued by the Juicy Chemistry Prickly Pear, Chia & Tamanu Eye Rollon after seeing the reviews on Instagram.

Even Bollywood actress Kirti Kulhari mentioned it in one of her skincare videos. So when Juicy Chemistry asked me to pick three products from their range to try out, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to try it out.

I have been using it consistently for around 2 months now and here is my detailed review on it.

About the Product:

The serum is yellow-colored oil with a floral aroma. It is packed in packed in an small amber glass bottle with the metal roll-on ball.

Ingredients:

Camellia Seed Oil, Prickly Pear Seed Oil, Chia Seed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Tamanu Oil, Hazel Seed Oil, Lavender Essential Oil, German Chamomile Essential Oil, Blood Orange Essential Oil, Eucalyptus Essential Oil, Geranium Essential Oil.

Directions to use:

Dab 2-3 spots around the eyes. Gently massage under the eyes with your fingertips applying the least amount of pressure.

My Experience Using Juicy Chemistry Prickly Pear, Chia & Tamanu Eye Rollon:

I don’t care much for the fragrance in my beauty products. But boy, this changed my mind. As soon as I opened the cap, I fell in love with the sweet and soothing floral scent (the best smelling product I have so far).

I knew I had to repurchase this Juicy chemistry eye rollon solely for its mesmerizing aroma. Seriously,  if Juicy Chemistry ever decided to turn this into a perfume, I would be first in line to buy it.

Coming down to the performance- Juicy Chemistry Prickly Pear, Chia & Tamanu Eye Rollon has an extremely lightweight consistency. It sinks instantly into the skin without any stickiness. 

Even if I end up over applying it, it has never broken me out. So if you have oily skin, no need to worry.

I have been using this twice a day for the past few weeks. Having the rollon applicator really helps make the process quick and fuss-free. And the metal ball feels cool against the skin which is pleasant too. 

Now I have had dark circles for several years and no eye cream in the world is going to erase that. So I didn’t expect this to work any miracles either. But it has helped keep my undereye area well-hydrated and moisturized. 

The key ingredients in this Juicy Chemistry eye roll-on are cold-pressed organic oils of tea seed, prickly pear and tamanu, all of which are rich in vitamins and antioxidants that help nourish the skin.

Now, I don’t have any undereye puffiness or wrinkles, so I can’t comment on how it would work in those areas. But I can say with confidence, that this is a really good product to keep your undereye area nourished. 

Even while the rest of my face feels stretchy due to winters, my under eyes are soft and moisturized. Not to forget the aromatherapy effect too. 

The tiny bottle has just 7 grams of oil, but it is going to last a good 6-9 months when used twice a day making it an affordable organic choice too.
