If you have acne-prone skin, you may have love-hate relationships with spot treatments. Some work brilliantly while others turn out to be a huge disappointment.
I too had my fair share of failures with spot treatments, even medicated ones. So I have stopped bothering with them. But the Forever Earth Acne Spot Treatment stood out to me with its Ayurvedic ingredient. So I ended up buying and reviewing it for you guys.
Derived from Ayurveda, The ointment consistency of the formula works as a protective barrier, sealing out bacteria and germs while sealing in powerful medicinal properties of herbs that essentially suck your acne dry without affecting the surrounding skin.

My Experience Using Forever Earth Acne Spot Treatment:
I will start with the ingredient list as they tempted me to buy this. The key ingredients include sulfur, zinc, neem, mint and nutmeg- some powerful antimicrobial ingredients that are used in Ayurveda.
Of these, sulfur and zinc are popular in medicated spot treatments as well so it is great that Forever Earth included them. The rest like neem oil, multani mitti, mint and nutmeg are also well-known for acne-fighting properties.
The acne spot treatment has a thick, grainy ointment-like consistency(a bit like homemade peanut butter). I have to rub my finger in a circular motion in the jar to warm it up a little.
Then I apply a thin layer over the acne and massage it for a few seconds to help it absorb.
It doesn’t disappear completely into the skin but sits on top as a protective film.
You can easily wear it during the day as isn’t very noticeable. I used to apply it twice a day on my pimples at the end of my routine.
It does sting at times but the sensation wanes after a few minutes. Coming down to its ability to treat active acne- it is a hit and miss.
Sometimes, it worked beautifully and help flatten the pimple in 2-3 days. But a few times it didn’t do much despite using it for 4-5 days.
If you mostly have pus-filled pimples this won’t be of much use to you. But if you tend to get those red, inflamed bumps, the spot treatment may help calm them with its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory ingredients.
The description of key ingredients also claims it will help lighten the dark spots that are left behind. But I didn’t notice any such effect on my face, I rarely do.
But a good thing about this spot treatment is that it doesn’t dry out the pimple. Moisture is key to healing the wound properly.
And the tiny jar will easily last you its entire shelf life if you get just a few pimples every month.
Overall it is a decent spot treatment that may or may not work for everyone. I will probably not repurchase this as most of my acne are pus-filled and this doesn’t work well on it.
