Last month, I ran out of my favourite Maybelline Baby Lips Balm. So I picked up the lip balm from Naturma in the mixed fruit flavour.
Of all the lip balms I have tried in the past, it Maybelline the only one that worked on my chapped lips. So I was a bit sceptical of trying out something new.
But since it was mineral-oil based, I decided to let it go finally (read here why). Instead, I bought this organic lip balm that I spotted on Amazon from a brand called Naturma.
Does it work as good as Maybelline Baby Lips? Find out in this review.
So over the years, I have read several blogs in hopes of finding a product that will keep my face matte and is affordable too. And almost every blog listed the Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisturizer SPF 15 as the best moisturizer so I decided to finally give it a try.
Ever since I started a skincare regimen for my oily skin, the biggest challenge has been finding the perfect moisturizer. Without a moisturizer, my skin becomes greasy and shiny within an hour of washing my face.
So I had high hopes from the Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisturizer. But sadly, it didn’t work well. Here’s why-
We are all familiar with the numerous benefits of aloe vera on skin and hair. But I also thought it wouldn’t suffice my oily skin needs. But while I was looking for a good night cream, I found some people were using aloe vera at night for oily skin and saw some great results.
So I decided to try it too. I am currently using Bon organics Aloe vera gel and here’s my complete experience using it.
Last month I purchased Bonsoul Witch Hazel Toner. I just thought toners were a thing of the past and with all these advanced facewashes we have, a complete unnecessity.
CTM is the basic step in every skincare routine. I have read about it thousand times yet never followed through.
After various futile attempts at controlling oiliness, I thought maybe this step is what’s missing from my routine. So I went ahead and purchased Bonsoul Witch Hazel Distillate.
I read a lot about how witch hazel is good for oily skin and thus decided to try pure witch hazel distillate from Amazon. Here’s my experience after using it for over a month now.
I have been using the Vaseline intensive care lotion for the last few years and was quite happy with it. But I decided to switch to another brand without any mineral oil and purchased the Aroma Magic Body Lotion since it was clean and affordable.
Winter is definitely my favourite season as my otherwise super-oily skin turns dry and I hardly break out. But the skin on rest of my body becomes super-dry with white patches. And a body lotion thus becomes a must-use product.
