Ever since I started a skincare regimen for my oily skin, the biggest challenge has been finding the perfect moisturizer. Without a moisturizer, my skin becomes greasy and shiny within an hour of washing my face. So over the years, I have read several blogs in hopes of finding a product that will keep my face matte and is affordable too. And almost every blog listed the Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisturizer SPF 15 as the best moisturizer so I decided to finally give it a try.
We are all familiar with the numerous benefits of aloe vera on skin and hair. But I also thought it wouldn’t suffice my oily skin needs. But while I was looking for a good night cream, I found some people were using aloe vera at night for oily skin and saw some great results.
So I decided to try it too. I am currently using Bon organics Aloe vera gel and here’s my complete experience using it.
CTM is the basic step in every skincare routine. I have read about it a thousand times yet never followed through. I just thought toners were a thing of the past and with all these advanced facewashes we have, a complete unnecessity.
After various futile attempts at controlling oiliness, I thought maybe this step is what’s missing from my routine. I went ahead and purchased Bonsoul Witch Hazel distillate since I heard witch hazel is good for oily skin and here’s my experience after using it for over a month now.
Winter is definitely my favourite season as my otherwise super-oily skin turns dry and I hardly break out. But the skin on rest of my body becomes super-dry with white patches. Hence a good body lotion post-shower becomes a must. I have been using the Vaseline intensive care lotion for the last few years and was quite happy with it but decided to switch to another brand due to my decision to go clean and purchased Aroma Magic Body Lotion since it was clean and affordable.
