Biotique Papaya Visibly Ageless Scrub Wash Review
Last Updated on April 2, 2024
On a visit to Dmart, I was surprised to spot Biotique and Khadi products on the shelves. I stopped around to look and this Biotique Papaya Visibly Ageless Scrub Wash caught my eye.
Having already fallen in love with their Papaya scrub, I decided to purchase this Biotique Papaya Visibly Ageless Scrub Wash for my sister since she ran out of her Neutrogena Liquid Cleanser.
Product Claims:
This fresh foaming gel is blended with pure papaya fruit to dissolve dead surface cells, unclog pore openings and smooth the way for clear skin to the surface. Gentle refining action uncovers skin’s natural brightness for a younger-looking complexion.
Price: Rs.150 for 150 ml
Shelf life: 3 years
About the Product:
The 150 ml packaging comes in a transparent tube with a flip-open green cap. The product itself is translucent green in colour ( like cucumber juice) with granules for the scrubbing effect.
It has a gel-like consistency which is semi-runny. The packaging is sturdy and the smallest size is easy to travel with. The hole in the cap is large enough to dispense the required amount without squeezing. It has a
Ingredients:
Papita juice- 3% (papaya), Akhrot shell powder-3% (walnut), Neem bark- 5%, Banhaldi Tuber-2% (wild turmeric), Ritha-8% (soapnut), Kikar gond- 2% (Indian gum), Moongphali tail-1.5% (Groundnut), Purified Himalayan water Q.S.
Directions to Use:
Gently, massage over wet face and neck with fingertips, lather and then rinse morning and evening.
My Experience Using Biotique Ageless Scrub Wash:
I initially bought the Biotique papaya visibly ageless scrub wash review for my sister but couldn’t resist trying it myself. I applied a coin-sized amount on a wet face and massaged it well.
Surprisingly this did not lather at all, so the soap-free claim is possibly true. The walnut shell powder is really fine and gently exfoliates the skin.
It is a very mild cleanser and removes excess oil and dirt leaving the skin supple and fresh. It does not strip natural oils from the skin and is perfect to use for normal to oily-skinned girls.
However, I did notice a few tiny whiteheads post use which happens whenever I use a facewash not meant for acne-prone skin. So if you have acne, you may want to skip this one.

My sister has dry skin with no acne issues and this suited her really well. Since it’s soap-free so it doesn’t lather much but it does not dry out her skin either and cleanses well.
Also, it is not meant to remove makeup or deep cleanse so a makeup remover is a must. The packaging is a bit of an issue as well since the hole in the cap is quite big. So you may end up with more product than required if you squeeze the tube too hard.
The facewash also tends to accumulate in the cap at times. Also, the brand claims that it is preservative free but I doubt it since the shelf life is 3 years and ayurvedic formulations don’t last so long.
Overall, it is a decent cleanser but I feel the brand is 100% transparent with the ingredients as water-based products do need preservatives.

Final Thoughts on Biotique Papaya Ageless Scrub Wash:
The Biotique Papaya Visibly Ageless Scrub Wash is a good gentle cleanser without any harsh chemicals. I recommend using this only in the morning for mild cleansing if you have oily skin. If you have normal to dry skin you can use this in the evening too.

I would give it a skip since my oily skin demands heavy-duty cleansers. Nevertheless, it’s good for morning mild cleaning.
